Pastor Ron Putnam is our senior pastor. After receiving his Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary, the Lord has opened many ministry opportunities for pastor Ron through the years, including the presidency of Slavic Christian Ministries, the director of discipleship of a large church, a senior pastor at a former church, a theological teacher at a Christian college, and being an international recognized author of three theology books that have been used for training throughout Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Myanmar, and to a small degree within the United States.
Prior to ministry, Pastor Ron worked in the legal profession for over seven years. He is married to his wife Katya and has three beautiful daughters, Isabella, Hannah, and Brianna. He loves spending time with family, friends, studying, and traveling. It is his passion to love people and draw them closer to the Lord!
Ginny Jones is our Praise and Worship Director. While studying both piano and flute in her school years, Ginny began her career in music ministry in her teenage years by serving as pianist for her church. She sang in the Virginia state student choir and also sang professionally in a trio group she created. Thereafter, she served as both pianist and music director for several churches in Northern Virginia. When she moved to Sarasota, Florida, she remained active in music ministry. Ginny traveled statewide in the 1990’s with Hallett Ministries where she was an accomplished vocalist and one of the founding board of directors. Upon moving to Ocala, Ginny again served as Praise and Worship Director for several years.
Ginny is married to her wonderful husband Ken and she has three children, two step-children, and eight grandchildren. She says there is never enough time for all the grandchildren! She is an avid reader and prophecy student. Her passion is praising the Lord through music. She likes many genres of music, but she maintains that the song must always be about its message and ministry to the audience. Ginny’s philosophy is that praising the Lord is the key to victory. She believes that no matter what you may be going through, if you’ll just praise the Lord, you will find your source of strength and your hope in Him.
Katya Putnam was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine. Before coming to Wellspring Church, she was on the paid staff for the children’s ministry at New Life Church, a 10,000 member church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
